The Goddesses on this page are suitable for indoor display

Nile Goddesses 3,000 - 4,000BC Neolithic Egyptian. Height 26cm (10¼")

Available in a turquoise glaze, a green weathered bronze glaze and now available in a terracotta, buff craft crank or black clay versions with painted underglaze, reminiscent of how they were 1st painted to represent the River Nile. More images of all of these coming soon.

These Goddesses were found in graves in late Neolithic and early Bronze Age settlements in & around Naqada on the banks of the river Nile. They pre-date the pyramids from a time before Egypt was unified under the Pharaohs. The shape of these Goddesses also appears as figures painted on to pots of that time, often floating above painted boats on the river Nile.

£110 each plus postage or shipping. Check availability. Postage within the UK for all the ceramic sculptures is generally 10% of the price of the item; abroad slightly more. I can post to anywhere except Europe currently, due to the crazy anti craft new laws brought in on the 1st January.
