She is glazed with a soft crystalline turquoise glaze that glitters like sunlight on water when in full sun, & goes dark & brooding in the rain, just like a river does when it is raining.

Hypnia ('Sleep') 55cm (24") wide, 42cm (16½") high, wall hanging sculpture.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor spaces. Available in a dry blue cobalt wash or the brown copper wash.
Based on a Classical Greek bronze head of Hypnos, the god of sleep, which was missing one wing. Mine is a feminised version, with Art Deco wings, based on those of a tawny owl, & with one wing folded over her face
to be more evocative of being enveloped in sleep. £750 each plus P+P. Check availability
